For INZ-accredited employers

Your accreditation records, in one place.

AccreditDesk keeps your accredited-employer records organised. It covers each migrant worker’s visa dates and conditions, hours and pay against the job check, settlement information, leaver notices and your renewal date. When INZ asks, export it all under INZ’s own headings in one click.

Built from INZ’s published requirements. A record-keeping tool, not immigration advice.

Why now

10 working days

INZ’s operational manual says an immigration officer “will revoke an employer’s accreditation where” an employer “does not provide information to INZ within 10 working days, without reasonable justification, where that information has been requested as part of verification or compliance activities being carried out by an immigration officer.”

1,728 revoked 1,087 suspended

As at 30 September 2026, INZ reports that “1,728 employers have had their accreditation revoked and 1,087 have had their accreditation suspended.” INZ notes these “can occur due to a range of reasons, and a number are due to liquidation.”

Your records probably already exist. They’re spread across payroll, email, paper settlement forms and VisaView screenshots. AccreditDesk puts them in one file and tracks the dates for you.

How it works

  1. Add your workers.

Upload visa letters and job-check details. We pull out the dates and conditions for you to confirm.

  2. Keep records as you go.

Get reminders for INZ’s published timeframes: settlement information within 1 month of a worker starting, 10 working days for leaver notifications and key-person changes, and visa and accreditation expiry dates.

  3. Export your evidence pack.

You get an indexed PDF and ZIP of your own documents, under INZ’s published headings, with a list of anything not yet uploaded.

INZ’s wording for these timeframes

Settlement information: “evidence showing that you provided settlement support information within 1 month of the AEWV worker starting to work for you”

INZ, Renewing your AEWV employer accreditation. Last checked 17 Oct 2026.

Leavers, if your accreditation was approved, renewed or upgraded on or after 7 April 2024: “You must tell us within 10 working days if an AEWV worker has stopped working for you, including if they are on a fixed term contract.” And: “If the AEWV worker has less than 1 month remaining on their AEWV, you do not need to tell us that they have stopped working for you.”

Key people: “You must tell us within 10 working days if key people in your organisation change.”

INZ, If things change for AEWV accredited employers. Last checked 17 Oct 2026.

What’s in your file

INZ’s guide to post-accreditation checks lists five areas of evidence it may ask for. Your AccreditDesk file uses the same headings. The headings and examples below are INZ’s own words.

  1. You have a viable and genuinely operating business

    • GST or PAYE records that show the IRD number for your business
    • financial statements that show your business is financially viable.
  2. You have a current, and the correct type of, accreditation

    • “Your accreditation needs to be correct for your business type and the number of migrants you intend to, or currently, hire.”
  3. Key people in your organisation must meet requirements

    • documentation to show you regularly check to make sure key people have not been temporarily stopped from recruiting migrant workers (that is, they are not on the Employer stand-down list, or the Immigration stand-down list)
    • declarations from key people that they have not breached any employment or immigration laws or have any pending cases against them
    • details of key people and their consent to share relevant information with us.
  4. You are being a responsible accredited employer

    Visa conditions

    • documentation of the checks on the visa status of your AEWV workers and the expiry dates on their visas …
    • records that show you remind AEWV workers about their visa expiry date
    • if there is a minimum and maximum number of hours on their visas, documentation of how you make sure AEWV workers are not allowed to breach those limits.

    Other employment responsibilities

    • records of any complaints, and proof you have followed the correct resolution procedures
    • keeping a risk and accident register
    • proof that you offer your employees health and safety training
    • records of the hours worked, payment of wages and PAYE, and holidays and leave taken by your AEWV workers
    • showing employment agreements for every AEWV worker.
  5. You are helping your AEWV workers settle here

    • “You need to meet the requirements around helping AEWV workers settle in New Zealand within their first month of employment.”
    • copies of the settlement support information you have provided to your AEWV employees.

Questions

Is this immigration advice?

No. AccreditDesk is a record-keeping tool. It shows INZ’s published requirements in INZ’s own words, with links, and keeps your records and dates organised. It doesn’t tell you whether you meet requirements, which visa or accreditation type to choose, or how to respond to INZ. For advice, talk to a licensed immigration adviser (search the Immigration Advisers Authority register) or a lawyer.

Do you contact INZ for me?

No. You stay in control. You run VisaView checks and deal with INZ yourself; AccreditDesk keeps the record of what you did and when.

What if the rules change after the election?

We track INZ’s published requirements and show the date each one was last checked. If settings change, the requirement library changes with them, and your records stay yours.

I already use Xero or PayHero. Do I need this?

Payroll holds pay and hours. AccreditDesk lines those up against each worker’s job check, and keeps the immigration-specific records payroll doesn’t: settlement information, VisaView logs, leaver notifications and key-person checks.

Can my adviser or accountant use it?

Read-only access for your adviser or accountant is planned for launch.

Where will my data be stored?

Pre-orders and the waitlist are stored with Cloudflare. At launch, worker records will be encrypted and stored in Australia; we’ll confirm details before you upload anything. See the privacy statement.

What if I change my mind?

Full refund on request, any time before launch and for 30 days after.
